1. What are some ways the author learned to control excess?

2. Did any of the author’s Reasons to Fight Back especially resonate with you?

3. Which of the author’s 11 Tactics stood out to you?

4. How did the author use “15-Minute Goals”? Are there any 15-Minute Goals you’d like to set for yourself?

5. What are some instances of seeds planted in the author that germinated half a lifetime later? (What seeds have been planted in you?)

6. Have you reached any Tipping Points in your life?

7. What are some existentialist themes in the story?

8. What did the author learn from exploring her feelings of adamancy. What could yours be telling you?

9. Is your nine-year-old’s ball of energy still burning inside you? If not, what is there now?

10. If you’re in a place where you want to feel healthier and happier, what are some things the author did that you could too?
